Hiking, canoing, horseback riding, birdwatching, fishing.
Canoe along the scenic Nottaway river, fish awhile, watch the bald eagles
soar along the river. Ducks, kingfishers, and blue heron abound. Horseback
riding or hiking along the many trails through fields and woods is always an
adventure. Bring your horse, children, dogs, and camera and enjoy the
country. Stay at our lodge a few days or a week.
Three day and six day hunts include lodging, meals, and transportation
to and from your tree stand which has been selected for you by
experienced guides. Pickup from area airports (Richmond &
Norfolk) is available if needed.
Tree stands are provided for your use. They have been located
to best provide contact with that big buck that you are looking for.
You may also use your own personal climbing stand. Safety
harnesses are required at all times you are in tree stands.
Ground blinds are also provided.
A list of items you need to bring and a schedule for your arrival and departure will be mailed to you prior to your arrival.
A comfortable lodge is provided. Meals (breakfast, lunch and
dinner) are also provided. Breakfast is served early so you can be
on your tree stand before the "big one" comes by. Lunch can be
served at the lodge or "bagged" if you want to remain in the woods.
Dinner is served family style.
Guests need to be responsible for weapons, and personal gear.
Linens are provided. Don't forget your Virginia hunting license and blaze orange!
Enjoy the nearby historic
attractions such as Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Petersburg, and
Richmond, or travel to Busch Gardens, Water Country or Virginia Beach.
All within little more than an hours drive. The lodge is furnished with linens,
dishes, silverware, cookware, coffee maker,and blender. Grocery
stores nearby.
